She switched careers after vocal troubles that required two surgery made her unable to sing and project her voice enough for teaching music classes. She went back to school in 2008 and studied health and wellness, as she has always loved strength training, and obtained her NASM and CSCS certifications. She now works at Life Time Fitness in Fridley, MN, helping others achieve their fitness goals.

Sylvia Reyss grew up in the suburbs of Cologne, Germany and went to an all sporting-boarding school for gifted children to hone her early athletic talent. Sylvia went on to study Sport with a minor in English at University and worked as an aerobics instructor, trainer, and fitness model.

She later stumbled upon a picture of an American Figure Athlete and instantly knew she had found her calling. She was mesmerized by the grace, beauty, sheer power, and discipline and decided to take a similar path an become a figure athlete.
The transition was an easy one for Sylvia, she joined the German Federation of Bodybuilding Club NAC and hasn't looked back since.

More than a full week has passed since 2011 has started and this is only the first wallpaper of the year, I hope this is not how the whole year will go. This year we will try to do things a little differently. We already have a new domain name, fbbwallpapers.com, and we will be looking to upload more than the 4 or 5 wallpapers per month that we usually do.

To belatedly ring in the new year we are featuring the youngest IFBB Pro Ariel Khadr. She supposedly surpassed Victoria Larvie by only a couple of months. According to her facebook page she is Egyptian, Russian, and Polish, a full-time level 10 Gymnast and a 2nd Degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo. She earned her Pro Status at the 2009 Team Universe Fitness National Championships
On new years eve she asked who would like to see her on stage in 2011. Well I hope this can serve as a little motivation to push her to do a couple of competitions in 2011. We would all like to see her on stage.

Laura London grew up in Connecticut, but has called sunny Florida her home for the past 14 years.

After reaching her forties, Laura was tired of being overweight and out of shape and decided to make a change. She started out by cleaning up her diet taking out all processed foods and only eating whole foods. She then started to do just walking and later joined the gym, and slowly her body got stronger and and she decided to become completely dedicated fitness.

She entered her first Figure Competition at 43 and placed third in the open age division, and has kept competing since.

She is now a national level figure competitor, fitness model, nationally certified personal trainer and writer.

Louise has been weight training since she was 20 years old and decided to compete in 2008 and did two shows - a local qualifier and then the British finals, both of which she won. From there she qualified for the IFBB world championships in Italy where she earned her pro card. Other than training 6 times a week she also works full time in a management job within the care sector, does personal training part time, some advertising work and a female training television show on satellite television. Kim Birtch first entered a gym with the intentions of getting in shape and getting toned. She then met IFFB pro Rhonda Quaresma who started to train her and taught her everything she knows. She entered her first contest in 2000, Eastern Ontario in Kingston and placed 2nd. She fell in love with competitive bodybuilding as soon as she stepped on stage and hasn't looked back.
